Hi
Version 3.9.7.1 was working fine.
Now, I see saturation with sine 997Hz when Output amplitude is set to 100%
Saturation disappears at 98.5% and below.
Here are 2 snapshots:
First one with DAC volume set to +2.5dB (ADI-2/4) but Output amplitude to 98.5%
Second one with DAC volume set to +2dB but output amplitude set to 100%
(so actual DAC output level is LOWER, as the measured voltage shows)
Also, an error message is displayed when Calibration window is called
CLOSED Bug: Saturation at 100% Generator sine with 3.9.7.2

Re: Bug: Saturation at 100% Generator sine with 3.9.7.2
I downgraded to 3.9.7.1, but it doesn't fix it.
Maybe an issue with calibration then ?
I ran an old install of 3.9.4.2 and no issue.

Re: Bug: Saturation at 100% Generator sine with 3.9.7.2
I restored an old version of scins.cfg and it fixed it with 3.9.7.2.
What's straneg si that all my color settings were fone after initial 3.9.7.2 upgrade.
And now it didn't happen.
Weird.
I'll close the thread.

Re: CLOSED Bug: Saturation at 100% Generator sine with 3.9.7
Thanks! The issue with the [Setting]>[Calibration] has be resolved and the setup file has been uploaded.
Directly replacing Scins.cfg with its old version may not work at all or may not work properly.
If the software is installed into the same directory of an old installation without performing uninstallation first, the old configuration such as the color scheme and calibration data, etc. will be inherited. It is also possible for a BRAND-NEW installation to inherit an old configuration if the old configuration file Scins.cfg is renamed to Scins.cfg.old and put under the new installation directory before the very first run.
