Add 180dB range to Spectrum analyzer

Post by RJA4000 »

Hi

For spectrum analyze, Y range selection contains 150dB and 200dB.
Would it be possible to have an intermediate values, like 180dB ?

The interval between options increases as the list goes down. Adding 180dB does not seem to be very logic in this regard, i.e. It is too close to 200dB. we will give less priority to this improvement for the time being. Admittedly it is something good to have.

Thanks for considering the point.

Sometimes, the gap between -150dB an -200dB is just too much.
With current audio hardware performances, there is more and more relevant data around -150dB.

in practice, the observation of rj4000 is very accurate... the contribution of -180db would be really welcome ;-)

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. The 180dB option has been added in MI 3.9.10.1.
